Job Description: We are looking for one or more experienced Value Consultant to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed business cases that quantify the value of our clients’ products and services. You will work directly with our clients, gathering in-depth business, technical, and financial information to build strong value propositions that resonate with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Case Development: Create comprehensive business cases that clearly articulate the ROI (Return on Investment) and TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) for client solutions.
- Value Assessment: Conduct detailed assessments of clients’ current versus desired states, identifying opportunities for value realization and quantifying potential benefits.
- Gap Analysis: Perform gap analyses to pinpoint specific areas where clients can achieve measurable improvements.
- Client Collaboration: Engage with clients to understand their business drivers, challenges, and goals, and align these with our solutions.
- Value Framework Implementation: Support the development and adoption of value-based frameworks across client projects, ensuring consistency and impact in our value delivery.
- Presentation & Communication: Present findings and recommendations to clients in a clear, compelling manner, ensuring alignment with their strategic objectives.
Required Experience/Skills:
- Value Engineering Expertise: Extensive experience in creating business cases, value assessments, and ROI/TCO analyses.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to gather, analyze, and interpret business, technical, and financial data to develop compelling value propositions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and engaging way.
- Client Relationship Management: Proven experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions.
- Consulting Experience: Background in consulting, particularly in value engineering, business case development, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with B2B SaaS products.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPIC.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
